SAYA TELAH BERHUBUNG DENGAN FMLLP UNTUK MENCETAK 1,000 KEPING TIKET JIKALAU BOLEH UNTUK PENYOKONG KEDAH YANG DIANIAYAI OLEH PIHAK TERTENTU. SAYA JUGA AKAN MENDEDAHKAN BEBERAPA PERKARA UNTUK PENGETAHUAN PENYOKONG BOLA SEPAK TANAH AIR.
Saya akan menghubungi Dato’ Haji Hamidin Haji Mohd. Amin, Setiausaha Agung Persatuan Bolasepak Malaysia (FAM) ataupun Kevin Ramalingam, Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif FMLLP untuk bertanyakan sekiranya mempunyai lebihan tiket perlawanan akhir Piala Malaysia agar diberikan kepada penyokong Kedah yang tidak mendapat tiket.
Perhubungan antara penyokong Kedah dan penyokong Johor sekarang ini agak tegang jika dibandingkan dengan sebelum ini. Ia pelik apabila perkara ini tidak terjadi ketika kepimpinan sebelum ini. Inilah terjadi apabila ada Menteri Besar yang kurang tegas dan terdapat orang bawahan yang buat kerja bukan-bukan termasuklah sengaja ingin menegangkan hubungan kedua pihak demi politik masing-masing.
Agenda politik tidak boleh ada di dalam bola sepak. Penyokong Kedah dan penyokong Johor tidak perlu bergaduh antara satu sama lain. Jika kita bergaduh, inilah yang mereka mahukan. Inilah agenda dan strategi yang digunakan dari dahulu lagi oleh parti politik iaitu ‘divide and conquer’.
Kita semua harus terus bersatu untuk terus menyingkirkan elemen politik dalam sukan bola sepak. Mereka banyak duit dan bukan sahaja berkawan dengan wartawan, tetapi mereka juga menggunakan saluran ‘cybertroopers’ dalam media sosial untuk memecahbelahkan rakyat.
Orang-orang sengaja menulis sesuatu isu hangat antara dua pihak ini supaya wujud pergaduhan. Apabila kita begaduh dan saling berpecah-belah, mereka yang untung. Nasihat saya kepada anda semua adalah jangan termakan umpan mereka.
Baru-baru ini, ada seorang exco persatuan dan orang dalam persatuan yang menjaga satu ‘group chat’ di mana dalam kumpulan tersebut terdapat beberapa orang dalam media, personaliti sukan termasuk beberapa exco FAM sekali.
Mereka ini bercakap mengenai bola sepak macam pandai sangat, macam dah bertahun-tahun menguruskan persatuan atau kelab yang maju.
Sedangkan semua tiada pencapaian dan hanya pandai bercakap dan setiap hari mengumpat. Orang seperti ini hanya mengutamakan kepentingan peribadi. Kalau mereka pandai sangat, saya ingin menjemput orang-orang ini semua untuk menguruskan bola sepak tanah air.
Sesetengah individu-individu ini pernah berjalan bersebelahan saya. Dia fikir apabila dia bernafas udara yang sama dengan saya, dia adalah segala-galanya. Sedih ia sebenarnya tidak sama sekali. Saya akan dedahkan nama-nama ini ketika sesi perjumpaan Presiden FAM bersama penyokong di Kuala Lumpur nanti.
Baru-baru ini, pihak FMLLP mencadangkan untuk menjemput saudara Radhi Mat Din, seorang lagenda dan bekas ketua pasukan bola sepak Kedah yang juga pemenang Piala Malaysia sebelum ini untuk majlis pembukaan tirai Perlawanan Akhir Piala Malaysia pada sabtu ini. Walaubagaimanapun, FMLLP telah menerima ugutan daripada exco Kedah, Dato Aminuddin yang tidak akan menghadiri perlawanan tersebut jikalau saudara Radhi hadir pada malam itu. Ini disebabkan kerana saudara Radhi adalah seorang ahli parti PAS.
Saya tidak kisah anda sokong PAS atau UMNO, kerana yang penting bola sepak atau sukan tiada kena mengena dengan politik. Saudara Radhi berhak untuk bersama dengan penyokong Kedah ketika majlis pembukaan tersebut di atas pencapaian beliau membantu Kedah menjuarai Piala Malaysia.
Individu-individu ini juga adalah dalang yang menyuruh FAM menanggung sendiri kos jika mahu mengadakan mesyuarat exco FAM di Kedah. Ia seolah-olah tidak bersetuju untuk FAM ke Kedah dan memberi peluang kepada saya untuk bertemu dengan penyokong bola sepak di Kedah yang saya hormati. Sedangkan sebelum ini, mesyuarat exco yang diadakan di Sabah dan Terengganu,
Sabah membayar semua kos dan begitu juga dengan Terengganu turut menanggung kos tersebut kerana ini adalah satu kerjasama dimana bola sepak adalah hak milik rakyat dan kami bersama semua negeri bergabung untuk membangunkan bola sepak tanah air. Orang yang ada sikap kepentingan peribadi atau agenda politik tidak patut berada dalam bola sepak.
Yang terakhir, saya tahu ramai individu yang berada dalam FAM kurang senang dengan saya kerana saya yang menandatangani cek dan membuat keputusan berkenaan penaja-penaja. Tidak macam dahulu semua orang boleh buat duit. Saya tiada niat nak menyekat rezeki orang cuma saya hanya menjalankan tanggungjawab dan amanah yang diberikan kepada saya untuk menjaga duit persatuan. Kalau dahulu,
pengacara televisyen yang isterinya kerja dalam FAM pun boleh pergi bercuti menggunakan bajet FAM. Sekarang ini minta maaflah tiada lagi sikap ‘cronism’. Ada juga orang di dalam FAM yang menunggu pasukan kebangsaan kalah, lantas menggesa sesetengah media dan portal media sosial untuk menghukum Presiden FAM. Ia bertujuan kononnya ingin memberi tekanan kepada saya dan berharap saya meletak jawatan untuk mereka dapat melakukan aktiviti-aktiviti tertentu di dalam FAM.
Saya juga ingin menasihatkan kepada pemuda Umno Kedah, jaga sikit mulut anda semua. Di dalam sukan bola sepak kita sepatutnya bermusuh hanya di dalam padang sahaja bukan di luar padang. Jangan lupa parti politik awak dilahirkan dimana, dan belajar hormati Institusi. Apabila menjadi ahli politik, tugas anda adalah berkhidmat dan menjadi hamba kepada rakyat, bukan menjadi ahli politik semata-mata untuk kepentingan diri sendiri.

I HAVE CONTACTED FMLLP TO SEE THE POSSIBILITY OF PRINTING AN ADDITIONAL 1,000 TICKETS FOR THE KEDAH SUPPORTERS WHO HAVE BEEN WRONGED BY CERTAIN PARTIES. I WILL ALSO DISCLOSE A FEW MATTERS FOR THE KNOWLEDGE OF FOOTBALL FANS IN THIS COUNTRY.
I will be contacting Dato’ Haji Hamidin Haji Mohd Amin, General Secretary of Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) and Kevin Ramalingam, Chief Executive Officer FMLLP to enquire if there are any extra tickets for the Malaysia Cup Final to be given to Kedah fans who were not able to obtain tickets.
The relationship between Kedah fans and Johor fans are quite tense at the moment compared to before. This is strange as this never occurred during the old administration. This is what happens when you have a Chief Minister who is not firm and who have subordinates who “kerja yg bukan bukan” to create tension between the two parties for their own political gain. Political agenda should not be mixed with politics. Kedah and Johor fans should not fight with one another. This is what the politicians want as this is the political party’s strategy used from before in order to divide and conquer. We have to be united to rid elements of politics in football. They have a lot of money and have friends in the media, as well as using cyber troopers in social media to divide the rakyat. They create and write up hot issues in order to pit the two parties against each other. When we fight and are divided, they have everything to gain. My advice to all of you is not to bite their bait.
Recently, an exco member of an association and certain members of the association who administers a particular group chat, which consists of members of the media, sports personalities as well as several FAM exco members, speak about football as if they are highly intelligent with years of experience managing a successful association or football club. In reality, they have zero achievements and all they seem to do is talk and gossip all day long. People such as these only prioritize their personal interests. If these people are so intelligent, I would like to welcome these people to manage the country’s football. Some of these individuals, used to walk and sit with me. They think that by breathing the same air as me, they are everything. Unfortunately, this is certainly not the case. I will expose all their names during the next session with the fans in Kuala Lumpur soon.
Lately, FMLLP suggested to invite Radhi Mat Din, a football legend, and ex skipper for Kedah who have previously won the Malaysia Cup to feature in the opening ceremony of the Malaysia Cup Finals this Saturday. Surprisingly, FMLLP was blackmailed by Kedah exco, Dato Aminuddin stating that he will boycott the match should Radhi be invited on the basis that Radhi is a PAS Party member. I do not care if you are a member of PAS or a member of UMNO because football or sports in general have nothing to do with politics. Radhi has every right to be there at the finals together with the Kedah fans as he has contributed tremendously for Kedah when he won the Malaysia Cup.
These individuals are the same culprits responsible for demanding FAM to cover their own cost should FAM decide to hold the exco meeting in Kedah. It is as if they’re are deliberately hindering FAM from going to Kedah and hindering me from meeting the Kedah supporters whom I have utmost respect for. In the past, the FAM have been cordially and graciously received in states that have hosted exco meetings. Such states are Sabah and Terengganu. In both visits, all costs were covered by the hosts as we all believe that the cooperation the affiliates have with the FAM is for the betterment of football in this country. Those with personal agendas or political agendas should not involve themselves with football.
Lastly, I am aware that there are some within FAM who are not too fond of me because I am signing the cheques and making decisions on sponsorships. It’s no longer like before where everyone is keen to make a quick buck or two. I am not trying to block anyone from making a living, I’m simply discharging my duties entrusted in me and making sure that monies belonging to the association is well kept. In the past, an employers of FAM who also happens to be a spouse of a tv newscaster was able to go on a all paid for trip as a couple by FAM. Sadly however, those “cronyism” days are over. There are also a handful constantly hoping for the national team to lose so that they can instruct the media to pressure FAM’s President. They are doing this with the hope that I will give in, step down from my presidency so that they can resume their questionable activities that they’ve done in the previous administration.
I would also like to advice the UMNO Youths of Kedah to please watch your tongues. In football, we should only be enemies on the pitch and not off the pitch. Do not forget where your political party was formed, and learn to respect the Institution. When you are a politician, your job is to serve and be a servant of the people. You shouldn’t be a politician just to satisfy your personal interests.
